When you’ve got a pest problem, the last thing you need is uncertainty about what it’s going to cost. That’s why we like to keep things as straightforward as possible. With that in mind you get a free initial visit, a clear written quote, and we won’t charge you for work we don’t think you need.

Wasp nest removal
From £95.00 + VAT
A single nest in an accessible spot sits at the lower end. Nests in difficult positions (high eaves, inside cavity walls, multiple nests on the same property) take longer and push the price up.
Wasps get more aggressive as the summer goes on, so the sooner you call, the easier the job tends to be. If you call before midday we can usually get to you the same day.
Rat control
Standard 4-visit treatment £260.00 + VAT
Rat problems always need more than one visit. We offer a 4-visit treatment as a standard. We install cameras and bait stations, then monitor remotely so we know exactly what’s happening without having to keep coming back out.
We also carry out CCTV drain surveys ourselves (from £150 + VAT) which means we can often find entry points straight away rather than sending you off to a separate drainage contractor. This can save the cost of the rat treatment unless it requires both. We’ll be completely open with you if this is likely to be the case.
Mouse control
Standard 4-visit treatment £260.00 + VAT
Mice slip through gaps the size of a pencil, so finding entry points matters as much as removing the mice themselves.Â
A standard service usually covers inspection, treatment, monitoring and proofing advice. As with rats, we use cameras to monitor between visits.
Glis Glis removal
From £85.00 + VAT (initial visit)
A specialist service. Glis Glis are protected under UK law and can only be controlled in specific ways, so this isn’t a job to attempt yourself or to give to a generalist. We’re one of the few companies in the area with proper experience of Glis Glis and with the correct licence.
Bird proofing
Quoted per job
Solar panel bird proofing is something we do a lot of, particularly for pigeons nesting under panels. The cost depends on the size of the array, the roof access and the level of mess to clear before we can fit the proofing. Free quote visits apply here too.
Bird proofing depends so much on the building, the bird species and the method (spikes, wires or netting) that giving a range would be misleading. We come and look for free, then quote.
What affects the price you'll pay for Pest Control Services
How far the problem has gone. Early intervention almost always costs less. A rat problem caught in week one needs less monitoring than one that’s been ongoing for three months.
The size and type of the property. A two-bed terrace and a six-bed farmhouse are a completely different kettle of fish! Larger properties need more bait stations, more monitoring points and more time on site.
Access. Loft conversions, cavity walls, flat roofs and tricky eaves all take longer to work on safely. We’re trained to work at heights and have the kit to do so, but it does add time.
Whether proofing is needed. Removing pests is one job. Stopping them getting back in is another. Most people want both, but it’s your choice and we’ll quote them separately so you can see what’s what.
How does our pricing compare?
You’ll probably find pest controllers cheaper than us, and you’ll definitely find some that charge more.
The cheaper end of the market tends to be one-man operations working out of a van, often without BPCA membership or the kit to monitor a job properly between visits. They might quote for a single visit when the problem actually needs a programme, which keeps the headline price down but tends to mean the pests come back.
The more expensive end is usually the national chains. They’ve got regional managers, head offices, call centres and shareholders to fund, and that all gets baked into what you pay. You get a competent service, but you’re paying for a lot of overhead that doesn’t actually make the job better.
We sit in the middle. BPCA members, TrustMark registered, properly qualified technicians, our own camera kit, a small office you can ring and speak to a person, and no national chain to feed. We like to think that’s good value for money.
What’s included in our quotes?
Every job we do comes with:
A free quote visit. We come and look, explain what we’ve found, and give you a quote.
Camera monitoring. Remote cameras mean we know exactly what’s happening between visits, so you don’t pay for us to drive out and find nothing’s changed.
Proper qualifications. We’re BPCA members and TrustMark registered. Our technicians are trained to RSPH Level 2 and keep their CPD current.
Advice we don’t charge for. If your problem doesn’t need treatment, we’ll tell you. If it needs something simple you can do yourself, we’ll explain that too.
Humane methods where possible. The law requires us to exterminate most pests, but cameras let us monitor in real time so no animal is left suffering.
